I love the food at Little Acorn. It's wonderful American burger and sandwich fare all made with fresh baked bread. The shakes are good too! Enjoyable.

We use to stop here as kids many moons ago when we use to drive through Spanish Fork. I stopped by a few days ago for a quick bite and to relive some old memories. Sadly the burger and fries I ordered were pretty bland. All frozen stuff, nothing special. The decor still seems to be the same from 25 years ago. The high school kids working weren't very friendly either, or just didn't care. Too bad this place has remained stagnant. Hopefully one day it will come back to life. (Photo included)

This was a great little place that we found coming back from the Hot Springs. I boight the Shadow Sandwich and it blew my mind. Really good fry sauce too

As a kid, this place was the middle point between my hometown in Huntington, and Salt Lake where we would visit family. We always loved getting our shakes and hamburgers to fuel our energy for the rest of the drive. We would ooh and ahh at the peacocks running around freely and feed the psychic "game" thing, that beckoned you: "Fortune for a qurater? I love quarters!" Now as an adult, when I go back just for old times sake, I am disappointing. The quality isn't so great, the freshness isn't there. I dunno, maybe that's why my mom took us there all the time, cause our little kid palate couldn't tell the difference. But dammit I'm sad I can't enjoy it anymore. This place was a staple in my childhood and growing up, I will forever keep the good memories!

My hubby and I go here all the time for burgers and shakes. Not top quality, but still good.

I've been eating here for YEARS. During that time, they have changed owners several times, so the service changes. Currently I would say there Grilled Cheese are not as delicious as they used to be. They used to have light fluffy thick slices of homemade bread to make these awesome grilled cheese. But the ones lately seemed to have heavy bread that didn't taste as good, the cheese was on the skimpy side didn't even cover the bread, the shakes are still delicious, and I have no complaints about there Pastrami burgers. Also, there frys no longer have there secret seasoning on it, they just have salt, which isn't so secret. I will still eat there from time to time, but I will not be getting there grilled cheese and I will not expect exceptional fries just normal fries. :)

When my boss says I'm taking you out for free shakes, I'm in a great mood! My whole crew walked in and got our shakes in less than 10 mins. They advertise fresh fruit shakes. The banana is a fresh banana that they blend up in the ice cream. The peach, strawberry and raspberry are not fresh but rather a thick syrup (the kind with chunks of fruit in it). I actually loved my peach shake the ice cream was nice and smooth and while actual chunks of peach would have been better. I was pleased with what I got. The place smells really good, like a burger joint. The staff is friendly and quick. I would have taken a picture of the shake, but it was gone so fast. :)

It's debatably 3 to 4 star food, but I couldn't forgive myself if I gave it under 4. Little Acorn is a family tradition. I don't know why, but it started at the now gone Pleasant Grove location. We stumbled upon it and were amazed that they offered Chinese and American food, along with a fish tank and great fry sauce. Then one day the PG one turned into a Pho restaurant that surprisingly offered the Little Acorn menu as well. Unfortunately they dropped the Little Acorn menu and now only do Pho. Enough about the PG location though, this one is now the only place you will find the Shadow Fighter. A burger on home made bread with ham as well. The burger meat is good, a step above any other fast food place, and the price is reasonable. $6.99 gets you a Shadow Fighter, drink and fries. The fries are better than your average fast food as well, and the fry sauce is excellent. They have other great food on the menu as well, bacon cheese burgers, chicken tenders, fish? (I'm too scared to eat fish at a fast food place in Utah), english chips, and more. I've had several different things here over the years and never been let down. The atmosphere is phenomenal. I don't think they've changed the interior since the 70's. You get a fish tank, odd paintings of rabbits on the wood paneling, painting of what appear to be old England streets, and all sorts of other kinds of odd decor. They've got a drive thru and ample outdoor seating as well. We stop by here just about any time we are on our way to visit my girlfriends family down in Manti and won't be stopping anytime soon. It's the perfect place to stop by on the way into and out of the canyon. Little Acorn is awesome, and will hopefully stay here for a long, long time. I'm happy that I stumbled on it after mourning the close of the PG one. Life just wouldn't be the same without the Shadow Fighter.

Small-town, hole-in-the-wall, drive-in. I love that you can find places like this scattered in rural, Utah towns. The food was decent, the shakes pretty good, the atmosphere charming. They had fry sauce - which is always fun if you're in Utah. Most of all, the staff: wow. The two boys working the counter were pretty young teenagers, but they were so nice: opening doors, making suggestions, giving a little bit extra. If you can get teenagers to do good service, I'm impressed.

Great hamburger and best milk shake I've had in a long time. Looks like a dive from outside but don't be fooled. Good food.

Made a quick visit for shakes and didn't try the food. The sandwiches and burgers others ordered looked and smelled great so I'm going to bump my rating a bit assuming it's all really that good. The "famous" fruit shakes were just okay. The ice cream was fantastic, creamy and decadent, but my peach shake tasted very little like peaches and I found exactly 1/2 frozen or canned (I couldn't tell which) peach in it. I kind of had to use my imagination for the peach part, to be honest. My husband felt similarly about his banana shake. The place feels kind of like a So Cal taqueria meets a Texas flea market, and is in need of deep cleaning. Despite this it does have a certain charm. The counter staff was very friendly and eager to serve which goes a long way.
